Nicole is originally from Texas, but has lived in Florida for the last 10 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in Kinesiology. After graduating, she was fortunate enough to be able to spend 4 years traveling the world, while living in Hawaii and Brazil. It was during this time that she realized her true passion was helping others in times of need. Nicole returned to Texas and obtained her second undergraduate degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2008. She worked as an Emergency Room nurse before furthering her education and obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing from Florida International University. Since graduating in 2015 she has been working as a Nurse Practitioner with the doctors at Gastroenterology Associates of Florida. She holds her ANCC certification, is a member of the Florida Nurses Association and holds privileges at Wellington Regional Medical Center and JFK Medical Center. In the past Nicole has served as a volunteer nurse for the American Red Cross and has done volunteer work at hospitals in Tanzania, Brazil, and China. In her free time she enjoys being with her husband and two sons, traveling, fitness, and boating.
